The 49er's drove to Jefferson, TX today (April 23rd) to meet and enjoy some time together for the weekend.
Jeanne, Libby and Marsha drove from Houston to Jefferson Friday afternoon.
Our Becky couldn't make the trip due to her husband being ill this past week.
Connie and her friend Debbie drove in from Arkansas to meet us 1/2 way at Jefferson.
We stayed in the lovely Carriage House on Polk Street in Jefferson. Everything was within walking distance of downtown Jefferson which was a treat for all of us who always drive everywhere we go. We had a wonderful trip although the weather forecast was Tornado Warnings Friday night in the area...we only had rain and lightening and thunder after we got back to the room later that evening.
